Bali helicopter tour over the coast

A couple embracing beside a blue and white helicopter on a green and yellow helipad, with the sea and a forested headland behind them

A private helicopter flight over the south of Bali — the cliffs of Uluwatu, the beaches of the Bukit and the blue water below — with a photograph on the helipad before you go.

The places you visit

  1. A dark helicopter flying over a calm blue sea towards a green forested headland under a pale sky

The flight over the Bukit peninsula

The helicopter lifts off from a helipad above the sea and turns along the coast, and within a minute the whole of the south of the island is below you: the limestone cliffs of the Bukit, the surf breaking white along their foot, the temple at Uluwatu on its headland, and the beaches of Nusa Dua and Jimbaran with the hotels along the sand. The flight is private — your family only — with a pilot who points out what you are looking at over the headset, and it can be booked as a short coastal loop or a longer route that takes in GWK and the airport approach. Every seat has a window, and the photograph on the helipad before take-off is part of the experience.
